RIDES and GROUP BOOKINGS

WheelAdventures prides itself in offering disability friendly and wheelchair accessible motorcycle sidecar rides and tours. Unlike other motorcycle tours, WheelAdventures will tailor a safe, fun and exciting riding experience to suit your special needs and interests. Whether it's a quick run along the Sunshine Coast's fabulous beaches and tourist strips, whizzing around the spectacular Glasshouse Mountains, or zooming along the amazing arts and crafts trails of our Hinterland towns - the choice is completely yours.

The sidecar is fitted with a comfy sizable wheelchair, with a plush lambs wool seat cover (or you can use your own chair - be it manual or electric).  The wheelchair (or your chair) is secured to the Sidecar by a Q-Straint securement system.  A lap seatbelt and padded upper body strap keep you secure and comfortable in the wheelchair.  And there's plenty of leg room for those on the tall side.

While we specialise in providing this unique opportunity for the mobility-challenged and people with special needs, we take anyone who's young at heart and enjoys having a great time.

You can rest assured that apart from giving you a fun and exciting riding experience, your safety and comfort is the most important consideration. We ride at all times with utmost care and responsibility.

Hi James, just wanted to say a big thank you for taking the kids out today at the Sunshine Coast Link Family,
Nambour Special School Vacation Care Program.  I know my son is still smiling when I talk about his motorbike ride...What a great business!  There are too few activities for people with special needs, your idea hit the nail
right on the head! Well done and thanks for making special people's day a bit brighter.  Rachelle, January 2010

GROUP BOOKINGS - DISCOUNTED RATES!

Group bookings are proving to be very popular for both organisations and groups of individuals, as it is a great way of sharing the cost ...... and the experience.

Whether it's your work Christmas party, your organisation's annual get together, a birthday bash or just an excuse to have some fun with friends, WheelAdventures can help design an event to suit your needs.

The minimum number for Group Bookings is 3 persons and the minimum booking is half day (3 hours)*.  Click
here for our DISCOUNTED Group Booking rates.

How you divide up the ride times between your group is entirely up to you.  For example, if you book a half day group ride and you have 12 people in your group, each person could have one x 15 minute ride, or 2 people (1 in the sidecar and one riding pillion) could have one x 30 minute ride (swapping positions half way if that was suitable).

Contact us for more information and ideas on how your group event could be arranged.

*  Minimum booking for Gold Coast is full day (5 hours)

Spiral Inc and other agencies were thrilled to have Wheel Adventures participating in their Celebration
of Abilities’ Disability Action Week 2009, held at Eumundi markets.   Wheel Adventures was one of a
number of organizations/community groups who provided fun activities for the disability and general
community, during a day of celebration and community engagement.  Those who took a sidecar ride with
Wheel Adventures around the streets of Eumundi said it was great fun and one of the best things they’ve ever done!
